MEMHREP TV the first ever Ghanaian Mental Health YouTube TV channel will premiere nationwide from 23-10-2022. MEMHREP TV will be advertiser supported and will target audience around the world. MEMHREP TV will feature both English and Twi programs focused on educating the public on mental health illness and its preventions. The programs on MEMHREP TV will include health related talk shows, documentaries, interviews as well as videos skits.

The launch of MEMHREP TV christened ‘’Lessons of Life’’ comes at a time when mental illness is on the rise worldwide as a result of the global hardships emanating from the COVID pandemic drug and alcohol abuse. Speaking at the launch of MEMHREP TV on 23rd October 2022, the CEO of MEMHREP TV Mr. Adu-Gyamfi appealed to Donors, corporate Ghana and religious bodies to assist the NGO to support the mentally ill and people living with disabilities. He also stressed on the vision of MEMHREP of building an ultra-modern rehabilitation centre in Ghana with the sole aim of curing and integrating people living with mental illness into society.

In addition to airing on YouTube, deals are pending in Ghana and beyond with about five free to air TV channels to show MEMHREP TV programmers Mr. Adu-Gyamfi said. MEMHREP TV will in the future present an un-served and upscale niche to advertises and appeal to an affluent, well educated, younger population with unique TV behaviour and performance according to the marketing manager of MEMHREP TV.
